Setting up Leave Policy

Workflow

  1. Create Leave Type
  2. Create Leave Entitlement
  3. Select Leave Type in Organization
  4. Assign the Leave Entitlement to the Placement

1. Create Leave Type

  1. Attendance --> Leave Type
  2. Add New
  3. Fill in the necessary information
  4. Save

Points to note

  1. Select "Is balance maintained" if the leave type need to maintain the balance, e.g. AL, SL, etc.

2. Create Leave Entitlement

  1. Attendance --> Leave Entitlement
  2. Add New
  3. Fill in the necessary information
  4. Save
  5. Fill in the Period session

Points to note

  1. You only need to create the entitlement if "Is balance maintained" of the leave type is selected
  2. No limitation in the number of Leave Entitlement you can create

3. Select Leave Type in Organization

  1. Master Data --> Organization
  2. Choose the company (the one marked with TOP)
  3. Go to the Leave Types session
  4. Select the Leave Types that will be used in the company.

4. Assign the Leave Entitlement to the Placement

  1. Staff --> Placement
  2. Open the Placement profile and go to the Leave session
  3. Use the gear button at the end of the Leave to add the Leave Entitlement to the staff
