Some of the staff is working with irregular working schedules and you will be assigned shifts on daily basis.
Instead of inputting the staff working schedule day by day, to save time and be more efficient, you can import the staff Daily schedule in batch to their Roster.
Go to Attendance -> Roster export the template in the system
Shift
Go to Attendance -> Shift and check if the shift is created
Location
Go to Master Data -> Location and check if the location is created
How to import Daily Schedule in batch to Roster?
Follow the cell format to input roster code, shift code and date (also the location code and leave if needed)
The column "LocationCode" and "Leave" is optional. When no Location Code is inputted, the system would assume the staff working in the location you have set in the staff Placement profile
Go to "Attendance" --> ''Roster''
Import --> Upload the excel file
Reminder
Please follow the exact format of the template, e.g date should be 07/Jan/2017 or 27/Jan/2017, not other formats.
Please enable "Automatically assign the roster to the placement whose placement number exactly same to the roster code?" if you want to assign the roster to placement through roster import. When the roster code is the same as the placement number, this roster would automatically be assigned to that placement.
Error message would be shown and you cannot import the roster if the format is wrong or enable the option wrongly.
