Why import Daily Schedule in batch to Roster?

Some of the staff is working with irregular working schedules and you will be assigned shifts on daily basis.

Instead of inputting the staff working schedule day by day, to save time and be more efficient, you can import the staff Daily schedule in batch to their Roster.

What you need

  • Template file
    • Download the import template rosterimport.xlsx, or
    • Go to Attendance -> Roster export the template in the system
  • Shift
    • Go to Attendance -> Shift and check if the shift is created
  • Location
    • Go to Master Data -> Location and check if the location is created

How to import Daily Schedule in batch to Roster?

  1. Follow the cell format to input roster code, shift code and date (also the location code and leave if needed)
    • The column "LocationCode" and "Leave" is optional. When no Location Code is inputted, the system would assume the staff working in the location you have set in the staff Placement profile
  2. Go to "Attendance" --> ''Roster''
  3. Import --> Upload the excel file

Import Leave Entry with Daily Schedule through Roster

Other than importing the Daily Schedule, you can also import the Leave Entry with the Daily Schedule through Roster.
