Sometimes, you may experience issues downloading attendance records from the card reader to the Ingress system, it could be related to a network problem. Here’s how to check the device network status:
Device connection Status in Ingress system
Ping status in CMD
Check any IP changes / IP blacklist between card reader and router
Check any network disconnect between the card reader and the router
Check any damage/ dysfunction of the cable line between the card reader and the router
Check any disconnect between the Ingress server PC and router
How to Check Card Reader Network Status?
1. Device Connection Status in Ingress System:
Go to Devices and check the Connection Status
You can find the IP address of the related device
2. Ping Status Command Prompt (CMD):
Open Windows Search and type CMD
Use the ping command to check the related device with IP Address from Ingress
You can ask your IT team to assist with this, or you can do it yourself

Ensure all devices are connected properly
Test the Cable:
If you suspect any damage to the cable, temporarily replace it with another cable that is known to be working properly.
