When to Pay Wages?
Employer should pay wages to your employee within 7 days starting from the end of the wage period.
❗️❗️Beware❗️❗️ An employer who does not pay the wages in 7 days may be liable to imprisonment for 3 years and a fine of $350,000.
Therefore, you are advised to choose your HR system carefully to ensure the administrative work of monthly payroll can be automated and fulfill the regulatory requirement.
