The HK Government has adopted the recommendation of the Minimum Wage Commission, so that starting from 2019/5/1, the statutory minimum wage will increase from $ 34.5 per hour to $ 37.5 per hour, subject to the approval of Legislative Council.
At the same time, the minimum monthly salary, eligible for exempting from recording total number of hours worked in the relevant wage period, will be increased from $ 14,100 to $15,300.
